The DUVENBECK Group is a logistics company based in Bocholt, North Rhine-Westphalia. The company traces its origins back to Bernhard DUVENBECK, who founded a moving goods company in 1932 in Bocholt, initially operating with a horse-drawn carriage. In 1992, Thomas DUVENBECK took over the company’s leadership at the age of 26. Today, the company operates over 1,600 trucks, primarily serving the automotive, plastics, and agricultural vehicle industries. With 36 locations across eight countries and employing more than 6,000 people, the company positions itself as a full-service logistics provider, offering services in planning, forwarding, contract logistics, cross-docking, sequencing, and trailer yards.

Project Contents and Goals
In recent years, digitalisation has gained increasing importance within the group. By the end of 2015, the previously used solution was no longer satisfactory. Thus, the company decided to implement a new document management system (DMS) that supports ongoing digitalisation efforts and enables the depiction of digital business processes.
Especially a d.velop forum is always good to see new solutions, discuss them, and talk with other users.
