Nico Bäumer is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at d.velop AG. His passion lies in supporting customers with their digitalisation strategies. With many years of experience in product management and product development, he continuously drives innovation forward. In his previous role as a Solutions Architect at AWS, he supported software vendors on their SaaS journey. He is currently focusing intensively on AI, particularly generative AI, and its potential for the ECM sector. He is convinced that these technologies will revolutionise content management.
For me, digitalisation means recognising digital transformation as an opportunity and integrating it strategically into the overall business strategy to ensure long-term success. It requires close collaboration across all areas of the organisation in order to establish digital solutions and unlock added value. This includes reshaping business processes to become more efficient and agile, introducing modern technology stacks, and integrating data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning to strengthen competitiveness, open up new markets and enhance the customer experience.
